Tragic mid-air collision over the Potomac claims 67 lives including former White House aide

A sudden and catastrophic mid-air collision between a Black Hawk military helicopter and an American Airlines plane over the Potomac River has taken the lives of 67 individuals.

According to the US Sun, The catastrophic event resulted in the deaths of all individuals aboard both the military helicopter and the commercial plane.

On board the Black Hawk helicopter was Captain Rebecca Lobach, a 28-year-old co-pilot, alongside Chief Warrant Officer 2 Andrew Eaves, 39, and Staff Sergeant Ryan O'Hara, 28. Tragically, all passengers and crew members on the American Airlines jet were also killed when it erupted into flames and broke into three pieces following the collision.
