The Pentagon has launched an investigation into whistleblower claims about the retrieval of an unconventional 'egg-shaped' UFO.
According to People, this examination is part of a wider inquiry into numerous Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAPs) by the Pentagon’s specialized division.
In January, Jake Barber, a government contractor, came forward claiming involvement in a secretive operation to recover a mysterious egg-shaped UFO. The U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) has acknowledged these allegations and confirmed that an active investigation is currently underway.
Barber described the object as a pure 'white egg' that was retrieved by helicopter operations positioned approximately 150 feet above it. This unusual object, according to Barber, displayed neither engine nor thermal signatures, making it unlike any conventional aircraft or drone.
The Pentagon, through its All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO), is actively scrutinizing this incident as part of its oversight of all UAP-related inquiries. The investigation into Barber’s claims is one of 22 active cases that the Pentagon is currently managing regarding UAPs.

Although there is no direct process for the general public to report UAP sightings to AOIMSG, they can still make reports through the National UFO Reporting Center. This lack of a streamlined public reporting system has been a point of contention among UAP researchers and enthusiasts.
