Meghan Trainor Reveals Cosmetic Procedures Left Her Unable To Smile Properly

Meghan Trainor recently divulged on her podcast how an adverse reaction to Botox has significantly impacted her ability to smile, Page Six reported.

Meghan Trainor's foray into cosmetic enhancements has led to an unexpected aftermath, particularly concerning her facial expressions. On a recent episode of her podcast "Workin' On It," Trainor openly shared her struggles after receiving Botox injections, especially from a procedure known as a "lip flip" intended to augment her lips.

The Journey Begins With A Simple Desire

According to the pop star, the aim was to give her a fuller upper lip, a feature she felt she lacked. However, the results went beyond cosmetic disappointment, as she now faces difficulty and discomfort when attempting to smile.

This adverse effect was not what Meghan had hoped for, expressing, “I messed up! I’ve had Botox a handful of times … just on my forehead,” but decided to experiment further, which led to the current predicament.

Botox Complications Impact Emotional Expressions

The trainer revealed the physical challenges she faces daily, stating, “Look, this is as big as I can smile. … Everywhere I go I cannot smile. My face hurts to smile, to even try." Her frustration with the outcome of the lip flip was palpable, as she humorously yet regretfully noted, “I don’t look happy. I look like I smelled someone’s fart” due to her inability to smile properly.

Physical Changes and Upcoming Plans

Not only has Meghan faced issues with her facial expressions, but she also discussed other impacts on her body due to motherhood.

The singer confessed changes in her breast size after breastfeeding her son, Barry, contributed to her decision to consider a boob job. She explained the fluctuation in size was frustrating, especially when dressing for performances, "My mommy boobies were full of milk and now they’re empty and then they’re full of milk and now they’re empty. They got big, they got small, they got big, they got small,” said Trainor, highlighting the constant changes her body underwent.

Shared Experiences and Future Considerations

This openness isn't new for Trainor, who has spoken about personal and family life candidly in the past. The artist and her husband, Daryl Sabara, who married in 2018, have two children. Their family life and the physical repercussions of childbirth and breastfeeding are topics Meghan doesn't shy away from discussing publicly.

Trainor's desire for surgical modification stems from both aesthetic preferences and physical comfort, deeply influenced by her life experiences.

Meghan Trainor's future now involves careful consideration of any further cosmetic procedures and managing the current effects on her daily life.

By sharing her experiences, Meghan hopes to inform others about the realities behind cosmetic enhancements, emphasizing that the outcomes are not always as envisioned.
