According to the New York Post, Her two recent Venmo transactions, made shortly after missing a connecting flight, are under close investigation by authorities.
Kobayashi was en route to New York City in early November when she missed her connecting flight at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and failed to rebook in time. The last confirmed sighting of Kobayashi occurred at LAX. Since then, family members and the police have been trying to piece together her movements post-disappearance.
On November 9, two transactions were recorded from Kobayashi's Venmo account: the first at 6:25 p.m. to Veronica Almendarez and the second at 7:19 p.m. to Jonathan Taylor. The payments included cryptic references, one with a bow-and-arrow emoji and the other described as "Reading," which is believed to refer to a tarot card reading.

Larie Pidgeon, Kobayashi's aunt, shared that the family is "looking at all possibilities" including local hotels and transportation networks to find Hannah. They remain hopeful despite the passing days.
"We are still focused on Downtown LA. Even though it’s been 15 days, we still have hope," Larie Pidgeon reiterated, expressing a relentless pursuit to find her niece.
