Frankie Muniz Races Full-Time in NASCAR Trucks in 2025

Frankie Muniz is pivoting to a full-time racing career in the NASCAR Truck Series by 2025.

Once a top child actor, Muniz declared his switch to full-time professional racing with Reaume Brothers Racing, starting in 2025, The Big Lead reported.

He revealed his new career path on a Tuesday, marking a significant transition from acting to racing. After years of preparation and brief stints in auto racing, Muniz will now steer the No. 33 Ford in one of the most competitive tiers of NASCAR.

Long Journey Towards a Racing Career

Muniz has gradually nurtured his racing aspirations alongside his acting career, first racing 20 years ago. His long-held passion for motorsports is evident in his dedication and drive during his interim racing endeavors.

This season, he competed in two races for Reaume Brothers Racing, achieving his best result with a 29th-place finish in Kansas, which he aims to improve upon as he gains more experience.

He is also scheduled for another race in Miami this Saturday, offering another opportunity to measure his progress against seasoned professionals in the series.

Transitional Phase From Acting to Racing

Muniz has made his intentions clear to prioritize racing over acting. "It wasn't a difficult decision to have his acting career take a backseat to his racing ambitions," he confidently stated, underscoring his dedication to achieving success in his newly chosen field.

Furthermore, he shared his excitement about the full-time racing opportunity during his announcement. "It's a dream come true. It's something I've always wanted to do, and the fact I get to announce I'm doing it full-time next year, I'm thrilled. I can't wait," he expressed. For Muniz, the full-time commitment is both a challenge and an opportunity to live out his dream of becoming a professional racer.

In addition, his endeavors and commitment to the sport are evident in his preparations. Muniz highlighted his extensive efforts to prepare for full-time racing. "There are 36 trucks that start the race, and all 36 drivers are good. If I'm going to do this, I want to dedicate myself to it a hundred percent with the preparation, working with Ford performance... doing everything I can to be prepared for the races and to be the best race car driver I can be," he asserted.

Frankie’s Future in NASCAR

The NASCAR Truck Series is known for its intense competition and serves as a stepping stone for many drivers aiming to progress to higher levels in NASCAR. Therefore, by joining the series full-time, Muniz sets up a significant test of his driving skills and his ability to compete at a high level.

Moreover, the racing community and Muniz's fans from his acting days eagerly anticipate his performance in the 2025 season. With the support of the experienced Reaume Brothers Racing team and Ford Performance, Muniz is positioned to make a noteworthy entry into the series.

As a result, as Frankie Muniz gears up for his next race in Miami, the focus shifts not only to his finish but also to how he adapts and grows in a sport that demands both physical skill and intense mental fortitude. His journey from prime-time television to the racetrack underscores a passion-driven shift in his professional focus that requires resilience and hard work.
