Authorities found Adan Manzano, a 27-year-old reporter for KGKC Telemundo Kansas City, dead on Wednesday at 4 pm in his room at the Comfort Suites in Kenner, Louisiana. The authorities initiated a welfare check when Manzano missed a morning assignment, and a hotel manager made the grim discovery.

Colbert was last seen with Manzano as they entered his hotel room around 4 am that day. Surveillance footage captured her leaving shortly after, alone. By Thursday night, authorities arrested her for using Manzano’s credit cards at various locations.
