Authorities have confirmed that 31-year-old Hannah Kobayashi is safe more than a month after she mysteriously disappeared during a layover at Los Angeles International Airport.
Hannah Kobayashi from Hawaii, who vanished in early November, contacted her family this Wednesday announcing her safety after crossing into Mexico, Mail Online reported.
Authorities last saw Kobayashi, originally from Hawaii, on November 8, 2024, while she was en route to New York City from Maui for what was described as a bucket list trip. The initial leg of her journey ended unexpectedly when she missed her connecting flight at LAX.
In the days following her disappearance, Kobayashi's family launched an extensive search, facing challenges due to the lack of direct contact and contradicting initial police reports.
