This launched a long-standing career where he hosted numerous game shows, including “Love Connection,” “Scrabble,” “Lingo," “Greed,” and “The Chuck Woolery Show.”
Before becoming a television icon, Woolery served in the U.S. Navy, an experience that preceded his pursuits in both music and television. He attended college after his military service, transitioning to entertainment where he initially found success as a musician with the rock group the Avant-Garde.
